Podcast-Kick the Cast-Caste to Win-Castle-Casting & Who’s in the Cast?

So by now you’ve figured out there’s a theme to this new post. Well, I’m not that good at disguising things unless it’s Halloween and then you’re in trouble. I’m going to be re-doing my Website soon, my personal Acting Website I should say and on it is going to be a new future that I was talked into by a good friend. He seems to think that doing a Podcast might be a great way to connect with everyone about Actorboy and also just Acting in general. I’m going to give it a shot and who knows, writing is fun just pounding on the keys but sometimes I go off on tangents that may not make much sense so that could be good.

I just got another check from “Ray” that I was in, it was only $12.31, and it reminded me of a funny story on set with Director Talyor Hackford. I was pretty nervous because he did Officer and a Gentlemen and I was in the presences of Greatness when it comes to directors so right off I’m in trouble. Well, 3 weeks before the shoot I break my right terribly in a Baseball accident, my first broken bone ever, and I said to myself, “There’s no way I’m going to miss this chance because people are talking Oscar for this movie”. Anyway, I know I’m not going to heal so I get a pair of aluminum snips and YES, I cut the dang thing off but I do it so I can put it back on. I bought one of those velcro bowling wrist things that Don Johnson (PBA Bowler not the Actor) use to wear. Now I can take it on and off. So, I get to set and they FREAK when they see the cast but I tell them, “Hey,look it’s removable”. So we get on set, the director knows the deal and I’m sitting in my DJ chair (I played Alan Freed, DJ from the 50’s who coined the phrase Rock and Roll. Anyway, I’m doing my lines, the cast is under the table, we rehearse a few times and all of a sudden and I hear this funny noise. Well, it seems the lighting guys thought it would be funny to kick the cast around. It did get a good laugh and the director was cool, I was freaking as I didn’t want it to break but it all worked out. Mr. Hackford then complimented my on knowing my lines to perfection and that it was the easiest part of the shoot so far because I was spot on. Of course, it did take another 7 weeks to heal the arm because I kept taking it off, putting it on, taking it off, putting it on…

As for CASTE to win, I do WWF, no not Wrestling. Words with Friends. I used the word “CASTE” for the win on a Triple Word. YEAH!

Castle has got to be my favorite show on TV right now. I was hooked on Grey’s Anatomy and still watch but Castle reminds me of the old “Moonlighting” with Bruce Willis and it’s great. Try an episode and see what you think.

As for Casting, I look forward to some Fishing time down in Florida soon with my Brothers Mike and Tim. Tim is an awesome fisherman, all business and he knows where to go and Mike, well, Mike likes to fish but he’d rather shoot them if he had the chance.

As for Who’s in the Cast, I saved this for last as I’ve decided to write my 2nd Screen Play, have what I think is a great premise and will start putting some words down soon. I’m excited because writing has always been fun for me whether it’s good or bad. I think writing is very relaxing and also exhilarating at the same time. Anyway that’s it for now. Time to “Cast” off……
